Crispy Tofu Recipe

Crispy Tofu is a great way to get plant-based protein into your dinner without too much fuss. I love serving tofu with rice noodles and peanut sauce or over rice with stir-fry vegetables. Add slivered almonds, sprouts and crushed peanuts if you want to be fancy!

Tofu is a great source of protein, calcium, manganese, zinc, and magnesium.

Ingredients:

1 block Extra Firm Tofu

1 Tbsp sesame oil

1 Tbsp coconut aminos

1 Tbsp corn starch

Directions:

1) Squeeze tofu and try to get as much water out of it as you can. Let tofu sit on a paper towel or kitchen towel for 10-15 minutes.

2) Slice or cube tofu into 1/2 inch pieces

3) Combine sesame oil, coconut aminos, and corn starch in a large bowl.

4) Coat tofu in mixture, place on baking sheet.

5) Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes, toss halfway through
